VATICAN CITY : Pope Invites Youths to Join Him in Denver

In his tradition of dedicating Palm Sunday to the world’s youth, Pope John Paul II asked young people “go in search of God” with him this summer in Denver. Since 1985, the Pope has dedicated Palm Sunday to youth and every other year has celebrated World Youth Day with hundreds of thousands of young people in a special ceremony. The 1993 celebration will be held Aug. 12-15 in Denver during a papal visit.
