Police Still Searching for Three Who Robbed Seal Beach Bank

Three gunman who eluded police during a botched bank robbery remained at large Saturday, Seal Beach police said.
Police were forced to seal off the Rossmoor Townhouse complex for nine hours on Friday while SWAT teams searched door-to-door for the gunmen and kept everyone from entering or leaving. The search was ended late Friday. During the holdup, one of the gunmen dropped a bag of money that exploded with red dye as the men fled the bank.
Seal Beach police refused to provide any details Saturday about their efforts to find the gunmen.
