Mercury Records’ Money Man Moves to Polygram Video

David Ellner is moving to Polygram Video as vice president of finance and administration from Polygram’s Mercury Records, where he was director of finance.
Ellner will oversee Polygram Video’s financial operations, including monitoring inventory and developing budgets.
Prior to joining Polygram, Ellner was controller for Next Plateau Records and an accountant with Ernst & Young.
Dale Moss has been named to the newly created position of vice president for television sales at home shopping channel QVC.
Moss will lead the sales efforts of West Chester, Pa.-based QVC’s program hosts and on-line producers so that the functions, which previously reported to separate departments, now work in tandem.
Moss was previously vice president of sales and client services at Philadelphia-based Rosenbluth Travel.
Walt Disney Pictures named Bernie Goldmann vice president of production, where he is expected to oversee development and production of Walt Disney Pictures films.
Goldmann was president of motion pictures for Steve Tisch Co., where he served as executive producer on the upcoming New Line Cinema film “Corrina Corrina” and Trimark’s “Volunteers of America.”
