Case of the Blahs

Regarding “The Ballad of Juan Gabriel,” by Enrique Lopetegui (July 25):
According to Juan Gabriel, “in show business, if you’re male and cute and gracious, people assume you are blah, blah, blah.” I am male, kind of gracious and in show business, and though I’m pretty sure I’m not cute, I’m known as being openly blah, blah, blah, so nobody has to assume anything.
Gabriel’s vague and incoherent ramblings once the subject of blah, blah, blah came up are breathtakingly inane. If this show business thing doesn’t work out, he ought to think about serving as Sam Nunn’s poster child to promote “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
