Camille Claudel (Bravo Monday at 7 p.m., Tuesday at midnight) is Bruno Nuytten’s 1988 romantic tragedy in the grand manner--a rich, darkly gorgeous film in which Isabelle Adjani won an Oscar nomination as the tormented sculptor lover of Auguste Rodin (Gerard Depardieu).
His Girl Friday (Disney Monday at 9 p.m., Tuesday at 3:30 a.m.) is Howard Hawks’ rambunctious 1940 reworking of “The Front Page.” Rosalind Russell is star reporter Hildy Johnson, trying to tell herself and her ex-husband, who happens to be her unapologetically shameless editor (Cary Grant), that she’s quitting the newspaper racket and marrying Ralph Bellamy.
