Jorge Paez, three years removed from his reign as the International Boxing Federation featherweight champion, brings his act to the Forum tonight, in the lightweight main event against Erick Madrid.
The 27-year-old Paez (44-6-4) is best known for his antics before, during and after fights. The 32-year-old Madrid (15-2-1, with 12 knockouts) will be in his first fight in California since 1988.
The other featured 10-rounders: Ysaias Zamudio (33-4-1) against Antonio Ruiz Villasana (12-3-3) in a matchup of flyweights; and Engels Pedroza (38-6) against Robert Wangila (28-3), in a middleweight bout.
