Greater Access Through Forums

* When I ran for the Port Hueneme City Council, I campaigned for open government. But I have found that monthly meetings at City Hall didn’t work. Therefore, in an effort to accomplish my agenda of bringing government of the people, by the people, for the people, to the people, I am now instituting community forums in Port Hueneme.
These meetings are open forums with no agenda and no time limit on each speaker. I am promoting one-on-one discussions in a casual environment.
These meetings are held at the neighborhood elementary schools to give greater access to each resident.
