St. Genevieve 30, Marshall Fundamental 7--Omar Gutierrez scored touchdowns on a four-yard run and a 51-yard punt return and intercepted two passes to lead the Valiants (3-2) at Pasadena City College.
The Valiants jumped to a first-quarter lead when quarterback Alex Muller connected with brother Joe Muller on a 12-yard scoring pass.
On the next play from scrimmage, Jonathan Chambers of Marshall Fundamental (0-5) hit Albert Camou on a 50-yard scoring pass. But with 4:19 remaining in the first half, John Arboleda kicked a 42-yard field goal to give a 10-7 advantage at halftime. Ricky Estrada gained 57 yards in 15 carries.
St. Genevieve was helped by Eagle penalties amounting to 186 yards.
