It will be a week of big showdowns for many of the county’s top football teams starting Friday, when Fountain Valley visits Huntington Beach in a game that could determine the Sunset League title. Two of the South Coast League’s stronger teams also meet Friday at Santa Ana Stadium, where Mater Dei plays host to Capistrano Valley. And in the always-tough Sea View League, Irvine plays Santa Margarita at Saddleback College Friday.
