Rep. Anthony C. Beilenson (D-Woodland Hills) will hold an Academy Day Forum on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. for high school students and their parents who live in the 24th Congressional District, which includes Malibu and portions of the San Fernando Valley.
The forum will present information on college opportunities at the United States Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy and Merchant Marine Academy. Representatives will be on hand to describe requirements for admittance and each academy’s function. Beilenson and his staff will also explain the congressional nominating procedure.
The forum is at Bay Laurel Elementary School, 24740 Paseo Primario in Calabasas.
