In another Northwest Valley Conference game:
Granada Hills 44, Chatsworth 7--Quarterback Jimmy Landress completed nine of 14 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns at Chatsworth (3-4, 1-3) as the Highlanders (1-6, 1-3) ended a seven-game losing streak over two seasons.
Lance Williams rushed for 133 yards in 16 carries and scored on a six-yard run in the second quarter. Danny Haag rushed for 39 yards in eight carries and scored on runs of one and seven yards.
Granada Hills had 442 yards and limited Chatsworth to 129 yards. Chancellor quarterback Aaron Hummel to seven completions in 19 attempts for 96 yards.
