Occidental College Prof. Elizabeth Barber was chosen to receive the Graham L. Sterling Memorial Award for outstanding achievement, teaching and service to the college by the school’s Advisory Council to the President.
Barber, who teaches linguistics and archeology, has written several books, and has served as chairwoman of the languages and literature department at the school.
