IRVINE : College to Hold Literacy Conference

Irvine Valley College will hold a conference on literacy in Orange County on Friday.
State Sen. Marian Bergeson (R-Newport Beach) will speak during the conference. Scott Cheney of the Orange County Literacy Network will also speak.
Several workshops and round-table discussions are scheduled, including one on workplace literacy.
The event begins at 8 a.m. at the IVC Student Services Center. Admission is free. For more information, call (714) 566-3070.
