Latino Coalition Supports Clinton Free-Trade Plan: Citing the inclusion of environmental protections and worker-dislocation provisions, the Latino Caucus, a group of California elected officials, business groups and community organizations, endorsed the North American Free Trade Agreement. Caucus chairman, Assemblyman Richard Polanco (D-Los Angeles), said the group is pleased that the proposed trade pact with Mexico and Canada also calls for the creation of a North American Development Bank to spur development of distressed regions on the continent.
