Architect Receives Achievement Award

Gyo Obata of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum has received the first Lifetime Achievement Award of the Asian American Architects and Engineers.
The 15-year-old California-based organizations honored the architect for his more than 45 years of pioneering achievement in architecture, including such projects as the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, the Anaheim Arena and Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego.
