In Academy League eight-man football:
St. Margaret’s 42, Cal Lutheran 22--Bobby Masters completed 10 of 18 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns to lead St. Margaret’s (8-0, 2-0).
The Tartans trailed, 8-7, after one quarter but went ahead for good in the second quarter on a 15-yard pass from Masters to Brian Askew and a 35-yard halfback pass from Askew to Michio Obrero to make the score 22-7.
Askew led St. Margaret’s in rushing with 45 yards in eight carries. Cal Lutheran is 2-4, 0-2.
