Long Beach : Schools Promote Admissions to UCLA
- Share via
Wilson High School, Long Beach City College and UCLA have joined forces to create a program that will guarantee high school students admission to UCLA if they complete college preparatory classes at the high school and honors classes at the city college.
Once the students receive their high school diplomas, they will be eligible for the city college’s honors program. If a student completes that program with a grade-point average of at least 3.0, the student will be granted automatic access to UCLA.
The city college already has similar agreements with Pepperdine University, USC, and Cal State Long Beach.
