Glendale quarterback Chris Ray was named offensive co-player of the week in the Western State Conference after completing 15 of 21 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-0 victory over Ventura on Saturday.
Mike Stewart, a sophomore linebacker at Glendale, was named defensive co-player of the week in the WSC. He had eight solo tackles, two assists, three sacks and one interception.
High School Football
The game between Channel Islands and Simi Valley highs, originally scheduled for Nov. 12, has been rescheduled for Nov. 11 at Simi Valley.
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
