GARDEN GROVE : 61-Year-Old Man Dies as Couch Burns

A 61-year-old transient died when a couch he was sleeping on behind a strip mall caught fire, police said.
Daniel Evan Randles was dead and the couch was in flames when firefighters arrived at 9794 Westminster Ave. about midnight Wednesday after receiving an anonymous 911 call, Lt. Joe Johnson said.
Investigators did not know how the fire started.
