San Marino : Bookstore Benefits Library
To provide extra revenue for the San Marino Public Library, the Friends of the Library have opened a bookshop at the facility.
The shop will stock mainly used books and will be staffed by volunteers, library officials said. The books will be those donated to the library that are not in good enough condition for library shelves or that duplicate titles.
The library receives approximately 5,000 books a year from donors. The Friends group raised $15,000 for the library last year. The shop, in the library auditorium, will be open Mondays from noon to 8 p.m and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
