Lincoln Heights Festival to Benefit Cable-TV Show

The Illegal Interns, hosts of a cable television show featuring Eastside artists, musicians, comedians and poets, will present a festival Saturday at the Aztlan Cultural Foundation.
“The Stage Is Yours IV,” from 6 p.m. to midnight, is one of a series of events to promote local artists, said Flavio Morales, one of the Illegal Interns.
The fair will include six bands, an art exhibit, comedians Chicano Secret Service, food, drinks, a record shop, a vintage clothing store, jewelry, an on-site tattoo parlor and body piercing.
Admission is $7, with proceeds going to purchase more equipment for the TV show and a portion to Escuela Aztlan, children’s classes conducted at the Aztlan Cultural Foundation, 401 N. Avenue 19.
