TUJUNGA : Police Investigate Body in Rubbish Fire

Los Angeles Police on Monday were investigating the death of a woman whose charred body was found amid the debris of a rubbish fire in Tujunga.
Firefighters discovered the body about 11:25 p.m. Sunday as they put out a small fire near the Verdugo Hills Golf Course on La Tuna Canyon Road, said Sgt. Frank Reynoso.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine how the woman died and her identity.
No one has been arrested in connection with the death, police said.
