EASTSIDE : Volunteer Center Opens in East L.A.

The Volunteer Center of Los Angeles, a clearinghouse for people who want to donate their time and for nonprofit agencies seeking volunteers, has opened new offices in East Los Angeles.
The new offices, at 5411 Valley Blvd., are housed in office space donated by the Social Security Administration.
