Abbey Healthcare Group Inc.: The company said Monday it has won a contract with OrNda HealthCorp, a hospital operator based in Nashville, Tenn., to provide home health care services for patients at OrNda’s 46 facilities nationwide, including five in Orange County.
Abbey, based in Costa Mesa, said that since July it has signed 61 new contracts to provide home health care to patients such as those with cancer and AIDS who have been discharged from hospitals but need ongoing treatment.
OrNda’s Orange County facilities are Chapman General Hospital in Orange, Doctors Hospital of Santa Ana, Santa Ana Hospital Medical Center, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, and Coastal Communities Hospital in Santa Ana.
