Doctor Suspended

I am shocked at the Medical Board of California’s decision not to revoke the license of Dr. Leo F. Kenneally when other doctors have lost their licenses for less (Aug. 15). Two women are dead because of his gross negligence and at least five others were seriously injured. The Medical Board determined that Kenneally must be allowed to practice for the sake of the poor and underprivileged women.
This is another example of “abortion distortion.” Decisions relative to abortion are calculated to support it. Meanwhile, Kenneally, who has been put on probation by the Medical Board twice before, will continue to butcher women in the name of “choice.”

* The subhead states, “A women’s group says the penalty is too lenient.” The “women’s group”--Women’s Advocate--is described as “a group that works on behalf of women who are victims of medical malpractice.” This group is one of the biggest, wealthiest, anti-abortion lobbying groups in California. More than the two deaths in 10 years at Her Medical Clinics, which--although tragic--reflect statistics far below the mortality rate of other clinics and for women who give birth, it is the efforts of anti-abortionist groups such as Women’s Advocate that are responsible for Kenneally’s suspension.
