SIMI VALLEY : Boys & Girls Club Director Leaves Post

The executive director of the Simi Valley Boys & Girls Club is leaving her post.
Rebecca Merrell, 43, held the position for five years. She could not be reached for comment Thursday about why she left the position.
The club, which is about to build a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse, serves about 2,000 youths a day, offering homework assistance, games and weekend field trips.
