Environment: OK for Sandstone Canyon

I read with dismay the article indicating the approval of the development of Sandstone Canyon (July 21). Southern California is so difficult to survive in, at best, and to realize that sooner than later there will be nothing left of natural beauty or wildness to retreat to from the asphalt, fumes and traffic.
My suggestion is that all stories of development be placed on the obituary page, to show the true nature of this continued destruction of trees and wildlife.
