St. Genevieve Finds Pisano in Loss

COVINA — Quarterback Vince Pisano, starting his first varsity game for St. Genevieve, showed he was ready for the A team, but couldn’t keep the Valiants from a 24-12 loss to Western Christian Saturday night.
Pisano, up from the junior varsity with Randy Iaccino out because of a broken ankle, completed 19 of 32 passes for 207 yards.
Rickey Estrada scored on two short runs but the Valiants (0-3) finished with minus-five yards rushing.
