E-Systems of Dallas to Buy Fluid Controls Operations

E-Systems, a Dallas-based producer of intelligence and surveillance systems, said it has agreed to acquire Fluid Controls Operations, which manufactures control systems for tactical missiles and aircraft at facilities in Van Nuys and Newbury Park.
E-Systems said the acquisition will broaden the flight control systems capabilities of its Montek Division, which is located in Salt Lake City.
The price paid by E-Systems was not disclosed. The company said the Van Nuys and Newbury Park operations, where 175 workers are employed, will not be affected.
