Train Derails in City of Industry

About 40 or 50 double-stacked containers of a mile-long freight train derailed Sunday night along Valley Boulevard in the City of Industry, but no injuries or spills were initially reported, authorities said.
“There were cars crumpling up and falling over. Everything was twisted,” said Deneen Rincon, who was driving on Valley when she saw the derailment.
She said the engine went off the tracks, and other cars smashed into the front of the train and toppled off.
