Granzow Leads Faith Baptist, 57-7

Quarterback Judd Granzow rushed for three touchdowns, passed for another and also caught a scoring pass as Faith Baptist defeated Chadwick, 57-7, on Saturday in a Southern Section Eight-Man football playoff game at Faith Baptist.
Granzow completed four of nine passes for 94 yards and rushed 10 times for 92.
Running back Rani Zahr gained 131 yards in 11 carries and scored two touchdowns. The second gave Faith Baptist (9-1) its final margin and forced the game to be called with 9:34 remaining because of the 45-point mercy rule.
Armand Dawkins of Chadwick (4-5) scored on a 41-yard run late in the first half.
Dolphins quarterback Ricco Washington was sacked six times.
Faith Baptist’s Robert Escalante had two receptions, including a 49-yard touchdown, and intercepted a pass.
