Gifts of New, Used Bicycles Are Sought for Children
Donations of new and used bicycles are needed by the San Juan Community Task Force, which plans to give them to local children during a Saturday visit by Santa Claus.
Volunteer gift wrappers also are needed to work Wednesday in preparation for the event, which is co-sponsored by the city and Harold Ambuehl, San Juan and Del Obispo elementary schools.
Those who plan to donate bicycles are asked to call Mark Buffington of the Capistrano Valley Boys’ and Girls’ Club. He can be reached at (714) 240-7898.
Those who want to help wrap presents are asked to call Linda Krieger at (714) 240-2694. Volunteers are asked to bring their own supplies.
