Honeycutt Named Director of Kennedy Space Center

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — Jay Honeycutt, chief of space shuttle operations at the Kennedy Space Center, has been named director of the center.
Honeycutt, a 57-year-old manger with no spaceflight experience, succeeds Robert L. Crippen.
