Countrywide Funding Names New Managing Director

Countrywide Funding Corp. has appointed Sidney Lenz to the position of managing director. Lenz will also continue to serve as president of LandSafe, the title agency subsidiary of Countrywide Credit Industries Inc. Since joining the Pasadena-based company in 1974, Lenz has held several key positions, most recently executive vice president of Countrywide’s Consumer Lending Division.
* William Timoney has joined Bank of America as senior vice president and director of Domestic Trust. Before joining the San Francisco-based bank, Timoney spent 24 years at Wells Fargo, where he most recently was a senior vice president. He will be responsible for personal trust services throughout California, including Los Angeles, Orange County, Pasadena, Riverside, San Diego, Rancho Mirage, Palo Alto, San Francisco and Santa Barbara.
* Sega of America named Michael Ribero executive vice president of marketing. Previously, Ribero, 38, was executive vice president at Hilton Hotel Corp., where he was in charge of worldwide hotel and casino marketing, strategic planning, new business development and retail operations. Ribero will be in charge of setting Sega’s marketing strategy for all the company’s existing brands. Sega is headquartered in Redwood City, Calif.
