Pacific Snax Corp.: The Newport Beach company received a two-year, $8-million contract to make and deliver to Vons Cos.’ private-label potato chips. Vons also agreed to carry Pacific Snax’s line of rice and potato snacks.
Pacific Snax said in a press release that it had also signed agreements with other food store chains totaling more than $3 million annually.
Pacific Snax said it will supply its products to Smiths Food King and to Super Stores, a supermarket chain in Northern California, as well as to several other chains.
