Cybernetics Products Posts 1994 Loss of 6 Cents Per Share

Cybernetics Products Inc., the Santa Ana manufacturer of drills and routers for electronic circuit boards, reported a loss from continuing operations for 1994. The company said it lost $298,000, or 6 cents a share, compared to a loss from continuing operations of $861,000, or 23 cents a share, for 1993.
The 1993 figures included a onetime restructuring cost of $812,000. Revenue from continuing operations for 1994 rose 43% to $16.2 million from $11.3 million. For the fourth quarter, profit from continuing operations totaled $147,000, or 3 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $226,000, or 6 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month revenue gained 35% to $6.2 million from $4.6 million.
The company said the results for both the latest period and the same quarter a year earlier did not include the company’s Oxberry division and Vision Ten subsidiary, which, because they are to be sold, are being considered as discontinued operations. For the year, profit from discontinued operations was $125,000, compared to a loss of $445,000 for 1993.
