Alemany 14, Paraclete 0--Sophomore outfielder Bill Scott had five hits, including four doubles, and drove in eight runs in a nonleague game at Paraclete. In four games, Scott is 10 for 14 and has driven in 14 runs for Alemany (2-2).
Alemany (2-2) scored all of its runs in the final three innings.
Camarillo 21, Santa Clara 2--Mike Muller went three for four with three runs scored and an RBI for the host Scorpions (4-1).
Royal 10, Arcadia 9--Brent Egan scored his fourth run of the game on a single by Kevin Mellinger in the bottom of the seventh inning to clinch the victory for the Highlanders (3-2) in the fourth round of the El Segundo tournament.
Hueneme 14, Arroyo Grande 8--David Valadez hit a grand slam in the second inning to carry the Vikings (4-0) past the Eagles (0-3) in a nonleague game at Hueneme.
Josh Towers went three for four for Hueneme and had four RBIs and teammate Brian Donohue went two for four with two RBIs.
SOFTBALL
Marina 1, Saugus 0--Jamie Gillies lost a no-hitter, then the game, in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Centurions (3-2) in the semifinals of the Laguna Hills tournament.
Lynette Valasquez tripled, then scored on a sacrifice fly for Marina (3-0), the No. 2-ranked team in the state.
Hoover 11, Bell-Jeff 0--Tina Kinney and Carla De La Torre combined on a no-hitter for the Tornadoes (3-1).
Harvard-Westlake 4, St. Bernard 0--Samantha Bernie held St. Bernard to one hit as the Wolverines picked up a nonleague victory.
