Violence: Gang Members Celebrate Truce

A friend of mine, knowing of my interest in working toward a peaceful world, called me to tell me about your article “Venice Residents Break Bread Together to Celebrate Gang Truce,” that appeared at the bottom of Page 3 of the Westside Edition of your Feb. 19 paper.
Gentlemen, I respectfully submit that the article ought to have been on the front page of the main section of the paper with an appropriate attention-getting picture to show and inspire the public that cooperative solutions to the gang violence problem are possible.
