Policemen Sentenced in Miami Beating Cover-up

MIAMI — Four suspended police officers were sentenced Friday for trying to cover up the 1988 beating death of a drug dealer, a case that led to a civil disturbance in the city. The leader of the cover-up plot was sentenced to 30 months and the others to 21 months.
