Budget Priorities

This is a strange world we live in, with an even stranger set of priorities. We have school districts cutting back on the education of our children. We have the county laying off over 1,000 workers, thus reducing services to all of us. And we have the Orange County Water District being made to pay $1 million to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to improve the habitat of the least Bell’s vireo. A very strange set of priorities.
