LEST WE FORGET

It’s sad to realize that out of the 51 people considered to be TV’s biggest power players, only six are women. An even more glaring absence is the lack of African American males, Latinos, Asians, etc. When network TV types begin to wonder why their audience is steadily shrinking, they should take a look in the mirror!
As an African American male, I will continue a personal boycott of network prime-time programming that began in 1980! I’ll be looking elsewhere until these executives create quality programs that more truly reflect this country’s cultural diversity.
