Passersby Ignore Hanging Body of Suicide Victim

DENVER — The body of a man who hanged himself in a park dangled overnight because passersby thought it was part of a Halloween prank, authorities said.
The 39-year-old man, wearing a hooded jacket, hanged himself from playground equipment in Wier Gulch Park sometime Wednesday afternoon or evening, police said. A neighborhood resident called police Thursday.
