Citrus 31, Antelope Valley 21--Citrus, ranked 16th in the nation, came from behind to win a Foothill Conference game at Citrus.
James Free completed 13 of 17 for 235 yards and two touchdowns for the Fighting Owls (8-0, 6-0). Trailing, 21-10, Citrus scored in the third quarter when Free connected with Terry Noice for a 41-yard touchdown.
Citrus took a 24-21 lead on a 69-yard touchdown pass play from Free to Noice and a two- point conversion run by Cameron Hurst in the third quarter.
Noice finished with six catches for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Hurst rushed for 126 yards in 23 carries and an eight-yard touchdown run with eight minutes left.
Corey Grant rushed for 72 yards and Idanre Anderson had 65 for Antelope Valley (3-5, 2-4).
