Los Angeles radio duo Mark & Brian are bringing their annual Day Before Thanksgiving Day Parade to Orange County for the first time.
Mark & Brian, who broadcast on KLOS-FM (95.5), have staged the parade during their air-time hours of 6 to 10 a.m. since 1989. This year’s procession will wind through the Old Towne Historic Plaza in Orange. Organizers expect to draw at least 4,000 fans and other spectators.
Some of the 75 parade entries are “Bonnie and Clyde in a 1928 Model A Ford eating raw chicken livers,” the “1995 Toe-Tappin’ Turkeys” and the “Anaheim Bullfrogs Skating Rink Float.”
The parade will start at West Chapman Avenue and Olive Street, go part of the way around the traffic circle and down South Glassell Street, ending at Almond Avenue.
Organizers suggest that spectators stake out their spots about 6 a.m. Wednesday for the 7:30 a.m. parade.
