OXNARD : Body of Missing Man Found Under Dock

The body of Eric W. Lee, a 73-year-old Port Hueneme man missing for eight days, was found Friday floating beneath a boat dock in Oxnard’s Mandalay Bay, police said.
Lee’s fully clothed body was spotted by a passerby and retrieved by the Harbor Patrol from under the dock at the end of Ravoli Drive, said Craig Stevens, senior deputy coroner.
Oxnard Police Department detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding Lee’s death, said Sgt. Lee Wilcox.
Lee’s body had been in the water several days, Stevens said.
Lee’s wife had reported her husband missing and his car was found earlier this week outside Cisco Sportfishing on Victoria Avenue, Wilcox said.
