* CAL STATE FULLERTON (0-2) at SAN DIEGO STATE (2-1)
Time--7. TV--Prime Sports.
Fullerton is playing its first three games on the road for only the second time in 20 years, and Coach Bob Hawking is hoping the Titans can turn things around after two defeats. Fullerton lost at Northridge on Saturday, 77-76. Fullerton scored only two three-point baskets to Northridge’s eight. In two games, the Titans are being outshot on three-point attempts, 39% to 24%. Sophomore guard Chris Dade is still struggling with tendinitis in his right knee, and Chris St. Clair is the probable starter. Fullerton won the last meeting, 83-73, in overtime last season at Fullerton, but the Aztecs appear improved with the addition of 6-foot-8 senior Paul Jarrett, a transfer from New Mexico State. Guard Chad Nelson, who had 24 points against Fullerton last year, is back, along with 6-10 center Leon Carter. San Diego State won its first two games, against Northwestern and Loyola Marymount, but stumbled against the University of San Diego on Saturday, 69-65.
