Covina (13-0) beat Fullerton, 34-0, behind Michael Ulrich’s three touchdown passes on Friday and plays Lompoc for the Division VII title. . . . Diamond Bar (13-0) drove 74 yards and scored on a 25-yard pass from Tim Ruiz to Lathian Tyler with 3:14 to play to defeat Chaminade, 14-10, on Friday and plays Newbury Park for the Division III championship at Moorpark College on Saturday. . . . Sierra Vista’s Oscar Interiano rushed for 350 yards and scored two touchdowns, but Temescal Canyon defeated Sierra Vista, 28-21, in overtime in the Division VIII semifinal playoff on Friday. . . . Chris Colvin scored two first-half touchdowns to help lead Damien to a 21-13 halftime lead against Rancho Cucamonga, but the Spartans fell apart in the second half to lose, 24-21, in a Division VI semifinal. . . . Nogales High’s Byron Glass and William Porter were named co-MVPs of the Claremont/Montclair basketball tournament after leading the Nobles to the championship. Porter had 23 points and Glass added 13 in Nogales’ 76-73 victory over Moreno Valley in the championship game.
