FULLERTON : Dunton to Head High School Board

A retired high school teacher has been chosen president of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees.
Bill Dunton, 67, was a music, history and math teacher at La Habra High School for 31 years. He retired in 1989 and was elected to the school board in 1992.
“We’re going to keep going--continue to provide innovative educational programs and provide safe school environments,” said Dunton.
Trustee Robert A. Singer was chosen to serve a one-year term as board clerk.
