Wouldn’t it be nice, should the NFL choose the El Segundo site for the new stadium, if Peter O’Malley would return the land adjacent to Dodger Stadium to the people from whom it was stolen?

Maybe The Times should hire map makers who actually know something about Los Angeles.
I’ve probably hiked, bicycled and driven over just about every dusty, chaparral-covered acre of Griffith Park over the years and I’ve yet to find Dodger Stadium there [Dec. 3]. It may turn up yet. I mean, it’s a big park.
But I’d probably have better luck looking for it next to Elysian Park.
Geez . . . suburbanites!
