Employees at the St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood made their singing debut Wednesday in a live performance of cuts from a new CD, “Fruits of His Spirit Come Together.” With the musical collection, the hospital hopes to boost employee morale and help the community.
The compact disc features 12 medical center employees performing inspirational and spiritual songs. Half of the profits will go to the artists and the other half will go into a scholarship fund for young adults who want to pursue careers in health care. The singers were chosen from a group of 40 employees who auditioned in June.
